Wilson families,


There are only a few days left before Spring Break and then we hit the home stretch ending with testing season in May! March is a crucial time for students to be in school as teachers are in the heart of their curriculum and will begin to wrap up the content, getting ready for the intense reviews that will follow before State and district testing. Please be mindful of this when planning your vacations.

END OF YEAR TESTING
8TH GRADE UNIVERSAL TRIP

8th grade parents: Payment or scholarship requests for the trip to Universal Studios need to be completed by March 11 in order for your child to participate. Additional field trip forms will be distributed after Spring Break.

7TH GRADE INCENTIVE TRIP

7th Grade Incentive Day to United Skates - Thursday, March 26


All paperwork (parent letter and two forms) was given to students in homeroom on Tuesday, March 3rd.

The cost of the trip is $20.00. Payments (mypaymentsplus.com) and forms are due NO LATER THAN Thursday, March 12. All late work for eligibility purposes is due to teachers by Wednesday, March 11. REMINDER: Students must remain eligible until the day of the trip. Once payment is finalized, there will be NO REFUNDS!! If a student should fail to meet the eligibility requirements, along with paperwork and money, that student will NO LONGER be eligible to go.

ODDS AND ENDS
  • For the safety of our students, all visitors are required to show photo ID and sign in at our attendance office. A Visitor Pass will be issued. Parents are required to make an appointment in advance to speak/conference with any staff member.
  • Photo ID Required: If it becomes necessary to sign your child out of school prior to dismissal, an adult must come to the attendance office prior to 4:00 p.m. PHOTO I.D. IS REQUIRED FOR ALL ADULTS SIGNING A CHILD OUT OF SCHOOL. Only adults listed on the student emergency card will be permitted to sign a student out of school. Please do not ask permission for someone to sign your child out early unless they are on the emergency card. Please also do not ask to add someone to your student's emergency card the day of the need for the sign-out. The district is only allowing two emergency contacts so if you want to add someone, someone will need to come off.
  • No outside food or drinks are allowed on campus except for lunches and water. This includes morning coffee and energy drinks.
