SUBJECT: WWMS Bulldog Bark: October 2025

October 2025
MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Bulldog families,

We officially wrapped up Quarter One on October 10th, and I’m thrilled to share that our students have demonstrated remarkable academic growth across every grade level. Their hard work and dedication are truly inspiring!

As we launch into Quarter Two, I want to emphasize the importance of consistent school attendance. Being present in the classroom is essential—when students are engaged directly with their teachers, meaningful learning happens.

Looking ahead, I’m excited to celebrate our outstanding Red Card recipients—students who earned straight A’s—at the Red Card Lunch on October 29th, generously sponsored by Wilson’s amazing PTSA. It’s going to be a fantastic event honoring academic excellence!

Go Bulldogs!

Warm regards,
Keith Fantauzzo
Principal, Woodrow Wilson Middle School

Noche de Ciencias (Night of Science)

We are reaching out to warmly invite any interested student and their families at Wilson Middle School to participate in our upcoming event, Noche de Ciencias (Night of Science), which will take place on October 23rd , at the TECO Hall (inside of the EDU Building), here at USF.

At SHPE Jr., our mission is to provide K-12 students with resources and education in STEM concepts, engineering, and college preparation. Noche de Ciencias  is designed to be an interactive and educational experience for 6-12 students, featuring activities facilitated by student STEM organizations and industry representatives. Through hands-on demonstrations, students will have the chance to explore STEM in a fun and engaging environment.

Held in conjunction with Noche de Ciencias, we will also be hosting Equipando Padres (Equipping Parents), which is an event focused on providing resources to families about various topics surrounding college in the format of presentations known as our College 101 workshop series.

Event Details:

  • Date: Thursday, October 23rd

  • Time: 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

  • Location: TECO Hall, EDU Building, USF

The deadline for registering is October 16th .

Thank you for considering our invitation. We look forward to the opportunity to inspire the next generation of STEM leaders together. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Author Visit - Mari Mancusi

Thank you to Media Center Specialist, Ms. Pettit, for organizing a wonderful visit from the author of Dawn of the Dragons (New Dragon City), Mari Mancusi! Because of the generosity of individuals and families who support the PTSA, every student who attended received a copy of the novel to be signed by the author!
